Administrative Coordinator
The Mid-West Planning District (MWPD) is seeking a summer student for an Administrative Coordinator job.

As an Administrative Coordinator you primary responsibility will be to modernize the record keeping for MWPD, but also participate in marketing efforts and interact with the public.
Duties will include:
- Digitization of physical files
- Data confirmation between physical and digital files
- Clean-up and organizing physical files
- Digitally archiving of closed files
- Organizing digital files on the server
- Interact with public that comes to the office
- Help develop new and update existing marketing materials
- Curate a CRM database of local contractors, engineers, surveyors
- Social media platform management and content creation/publishing
- Website content updates
- Book fire inspections
By the end of the summer you will gain skills in working independently, time management, setting priorities based on goals, organizing and categorizing , business and marketing writing skills and exposure to the construction industry and experience working in an office setting.
As a successful candidate, you must be between the ages of 15 and 29 and possess:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written communications skills
- Diplomatic in dealing with the public
- Exposure to WordPress CMS and Facebook business accounts would be a plus
Working Environment:
- Based out of the Miniota Office – 111 Sarah Avenue, Miniota, MB.
- Hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. (40 hour/week)
- Available May through August
Start Date: Early May 2024
Compensation: $16.50/hour
