RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF OAKVIEW UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE PLANNING ACT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR VARIANCE ORDER
Rural Municipality of Oakview, under the authority of The Planning Act, will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at the below listed location, date, and time during which the Council will receive written or verbal representation from the applicant and any persons who wish to make them in respect to the following application matter:
Application for a Variance Order under Part 3 Table 3.2 of the Rural Municipality of Oakview Zoning By-Law #2019-3, as amended.
HEARING LOCATION: Rural Municipality of Oakview Council Chambers located at 10 Cochrane Street, Oak River
DATE & TIME: September 8, 2026, 6:05pm (1805h)
APPLICANT and OWNER: Karl Kleinsasser on behalf of Westview Holding Co Ltd.
PROPOSAL: To bring a building into conformance with the zoning by-law requirements
PROPERTY LOCATION: 81001 Road 123W, SW22-14-21W, Rural Municipality of Oakview
AREA: Approximately 4.5 km southeast of Cardale
VARIANCE ORDER APPLICATION
ORDER NUMBER: 2026-107-178-VO
FROM: the front yard setback of 50 feet (granted via Variance Order 08-O-23-VO) TO: 30 feet
FOR THE PURPOSE OF: bringing a grain dryer control shed building into conformance with the zoning by-law front yard setback requirements of accessory buildings in the Agricultural General “AG” zone.
A copy of the above proposal and supporting material may be inspected at the Mid-West Planning District office during normal business hours. Copies may be made, and extracts taken there from, upon request.
