A new Fee Schedule By-Law was passed on March 13, 2025. View Fee Structure By-Law 4-2025.

NOTE: All invoices are due upon receipt. Interest Charges on all accounts over 30 days beginning the start of the month after the 30 days expires at 2.0% per month.

MWPD will issue a fee calculation for the permit after a preliminary review to confirm we have received a complete application package. Fee payment is required to move to the next step in the review process. An official invoice and receipt will be issued after payment or prior to payment at the request of the applicant.

Requested inspections and occupancy load certificates will be calculated and invoiced after the work is done. The report or certificates will be sent out after payment is received.

Fire Safety Inspections will be invoiced and sent with the initial inspection report.

Payments: We currently accept:

  • Cheques (made out to Mid-West Planning District),
  • Cash (in the exact amount as we do not carry change), and
  • e-Transfers (email to devofficer@midwestplanning.ca no password required)
